David Abramson

Managing Director

With over ten years’ experience in the leisure sector, David is one of London's most well-known leisure advisors. He has a unique ability to broker high level key property acquisitions and has done so for companies such as Nobu, Masala World, Conran, Ping Pong, Bo deans, Black & Blue and Angus Steakhouse to name a few. David also is well recognised for his ability to assist companies in growing from a small chain to being in a position to receive external funding from private equity or banks. As Joint Managing Director of Cedar Dean Gilmarc, David oversees the team and is responsible for strategic advice to a select number of clients on a corporate level.

Morris Greenberg

Managing Director

Morris Greenberg started Gilmarc Associates in 1998 and since then has established himself as a creative and personable deal maker. With his experience in the industry he puts new and established buyers in the market at ease with his knowledge and his ability to make sure the most difficult of deals have a good end result for all parties involved. His role within Cedar Dean Gilmarc is to oversee the disposal team, bring in key disposal instructions and to establish close connections with the new operators/brands to the leisure scene. Outside of the work environment Morris enjoys spending time with the family, socialising, boxing and table tennis, having been a highly ranked national player for many years in his slimmer and fitter days!

Hila Baron

PA To Directors

Hila is PA to CDG Leisure's Managing Directors, David Abramson and Morris Greenberg. She also plays an active role within the professional team, managing office administration and accounts, maintaining the property databases and dealing with daily client inquiries.

Prior to working with CDG, Hila worked for, amongst others, the Embassy of Israel in London in the commercial and press departments and brings with her experience in the non-profit, PR, marketing and event organization sectors. She has a BA in War Studies and a Masters in Modern Israeli Studies and has found that the diplomacy she learned there works pretty well in the office too!

Outside of work Hila enjoys cooking, painting, zumba, and spending time with her family.

Charles Cohen

Associate Director

Charles Cohen joined Cedar Dean in 2007 coming primarily from a background in acquisitions. Cedar Dean enabled Charles to carve out a career in the restaurant, bar and club property sector and become one of the leisure market's most creative new agents, working with multiple groups, embryonic brands as well as investors ranging from private clients to institutional landlords with great success. Charles' main areas of activity are flagship disposals and late licence acquisitions having sourced sites for some of the leading players in the current market, most notably representing Alex Proud negotiating the Joint Venture with the O2 Arena Landlords, AEG in setting up what is now Proud2.

In his own leisure time, Charles is currently in the process of obtaining his private pilot's helicopter licence with other hobbies taking part in numerous extreme sports (golf included) and naturally eating out in the restaurants he helps to acquire.

Salvatore Di Natale

Associate Director

Salvatore Di Natale is of Italian background consisting of a family of restaurateurs so therefore is well versed in dealing with properties in this sector. His extensive knowledge and experience has evolved through having previously worked in a Restaurant/Nightclub business for almost 20 years as the business manager, so having been on the operator side this gives Salvatore a unique insight and the ability to identify the needs and demands of buyers and sellers alike.

Salvatore's main focus is acting on behalf of tenants and landlords on the disposal, valuation and acquisition of leisure premises all over England with a main interest in London.

During his spare time, Salvatore enjoys spending time with his family, playing football, cricket, and regularly trains in the Martial Arts. Last, but not least, he loves eating out !!

Emma Cousins

Leisure Property Consultant

Emma relocated to London 3 years ago having spent 5 years living and working in Marbella, and has many years’ experience working in various roles in clubs and bars in Marbella, Austria, and London. She also brings with her years of experience working in the travel industry where she was a sought-after operative working for Thomas Cook.
 
Emma brings with her a fresh and enthusiastic approach and is most at home getting to know new people and showing them around the many properties CDG has around town. Emma especially enjoys picturing herself inside each new property and visualising what could be done to it with a little imagination.

Out of the office Emma goes to the gym, and goes out in the evenings to different bars and restaurants around London to socialize with people and get to know the owners, helping them to expand their business. She also likes her holidays and tries to get away from this weather whenever possible!

David Kornbluth

Leisure Property Consultant

David Kornbluth's responsibilities at CDG Leisure include the disposal of licensed and leisure properties located outside London, and managing the disposal of group portfolios. He is also involved in the acquisition of cafes, restaurants, and bars in Central London.

Having returned to the UK from living abroad, David has taken the opportunity to combine his interest in property with the appeal of the leisure sector, and relishes interacting with CDG's extensive range of clients. As a dedicated consultant, David is known for his ability to navigate his way through a complex deal, ensuring all parties are equally content at the end of the day. David brings an innovative approach to the leisure property market, and brightens the office with his upbeat personality.

In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his family and is kept on his toes running around after his two little boys.

Kiren Dhesi

Leisure Property Consultant

Kiren joined Cedar Dean Gilmarc in June 2011 as a property consultant, and has established herself as a key member of the team, focusing mainly on leisure property of all classes in Central London. Kiren has a First Class degree from King's College London in Geography. She comes to CDG Leisure with previous experience working in the recruitment sector and at the Financial Times and has a unique ability to interact with clients of diverse backgrounds, understanding everyone's needs to be unique.

In her spare time Kiren enjoys travelling to the Middle East and Asia, especially India. With family in Punjab she is very keen on staying connected to her rich culture and increasing the number of fine Indian restaurants in the Capital!

Lee Isaacs MRICS

Lease Restructuring Consultant

Lee began his commercial property career over 10 years ago in the commercial auctions department at Allsops and has worked for various surveying firms since then. He is a fully qualified chartered surveyor and now heads up the Cedar Dean Gilmarc lease restructuring team.

Lee utilises his breadth of knowledge and experience as he advises on and executes strategies that seek to maximise property values and mitigate lease liabilities. He serves clients across a broad range of real estate verticals including the commercial office and retail markets, the industrial and manufacturing markets, undeveloped and entitled land. He negotiates and closes transactions efficiently and effectively and has an excellent reputation for consistently agreeing deals that suit all parties.

Some of Lee's clients include Subway Sandwiches UK, Superdrug, Evolutions TV, La Tasca Restaurants and BioCare Pharmaceutical.

Henry Hersh

Rent Review Surveyor

I am a chartered surveyor and member of the RICS since 1990, having previously been a member of the Society of Valuers and Auctioneers. I also hold a degree in Estate Management from East London University.
 
I have been negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals for the past 25 years for private clients, primarily on retail units, but also in respect of offices and industrial properties, throughout the length and breadth of the U.K. I have a wealth of experience in evaluating the differing U.K. rental markets and love travelling throughout the U.K. and relish debating and discussing rental valuations and related legal issues on all types of commercial properties. I always welcome a challenge, and see each and every instruction, as a new learning experience.
 
My target is to reach an amicable settlement on each assignment, but alas, where it has not been possible to agree, I have acted in the capacity of an Expert Valuer, with regard to Arbitration work, which I enjoy very much, particularly on counter arguments against my opponent.
 
Just over a year ago, I joined Cedar Dean as a consultant rent review surveyor, focusing on restaurant rent reviews, which presented me with a new challenge, and this work has been most enjoyable, and the atmosphere in this office has been very pleasant helped by a most wonderful bunch of colleagues and workmates.
